We are sorry for the inconvenience on the registration fees. Now the fees and requirements has been updated as below.

Registration Requirements:

At least one of the authors must make a Regular Registration by Thursday, September 19 , ~~Friday, September 13~~ ~~August 30, 2024~~ in order for their papers to be included in the program and proceedings of ICEMS 2024.
One Regular Registration allows an author to present up to two papers. An additional paper fee is required to present the second paper. Student registrations cannot be used to present papers. If a student needs to present a paper, they must register as a Regular Author.

NOTE:

Please read here before making registration and final submission.

If you are a presenting author, but you don't have the account one page digest abstract submitted.
If your coauthor have submitted one page digest abstract and you will attend the conference on behalf of him/her, please take over his/her account and change author information in the account. After that, you can register and submit full paper via the account.
In case you wish to submit the second paper
Due to the system specification, you allow to do only one paper via your account. Please make a registration first "Regular" and "additional paper" first, and then submit your first paper via the account. After that, please send an email titled "Request of the second paper" to the secretariat with your submission no.(C000000) of second paper and registration no. (A00000). We will link both account and you can upload the second paper via the account of the second paper.

FAQ

I cannot submit a full paper via my account.
You can do it when you access an account which one page digest abstract submitted. Please don't make a new account for your registration and submission.
I cannot submit the second paper.

You are required to register via the on-line registration system to attend the conference. In case you come the registration desk without on-line registration, you are requested to do it onsite. Any cash transactions cannot be done onsite. Session chairs are also required to complete the conference registration.
Consumption tax (10%) is included in the fees above.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your participation in the conference, please be sure to notify the conference secretary at secretariat[at]icems2024.com (replace [at] with @) by e-mail immediately. The following cancellation fee will be applied, based on the date when the conference secretary receives the notification of the cancellation. All refunds will be made after the conference.

October 1 to 31, 2024	25% refund (75% of the registration fee payment)
On and after November 1, 2024	No refund (100% of registration fee payment)

*The refund will be made after the conference via credit card you registered.

NOTE:

When the final paper submitted is rejected because it fails the plagiarism check or is clearly an incomplete paper, 100% refund.

Cancellation Policy of Banquet

No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after October 31, 2024.

Disclaimer Notice

Cancellation of the program because of force majeure, including an Act of God, will be eligible for a full refund.

Invitation Letters for Visa Application

If you need an invitation letter in order to apply for a visa to enter Japan, you MUST complete your registration with payment to this conference. Then, please contact the secretariat with your registration ID. You will be given an application form for the invitation letter which you should fill in and submit to the secretariat. After you submit the form, you will receive the invitation letter by international mail service in 1-2 weeks. The procedure is subject to change according to the Japanese Government's policy
