Recommended Route: Via Subway

Fukuoka International Airport → Hakata Station

Exit Fukuoka International Airport → (Free shuttle bus, approximately 10–15 minutes) → Fukuoka Airport Subway Station → (Fukuoka City Subway Airport Line, 6 minutes) → Hakata Station.

Hakata Station → Fukuoka Institute of Technology

Take a train on the Kagoshima Main Line from JR Hakata Station bound for Kokura, Moji-ko, Orio, or Fukuma, and get off at Fukkōdai-mae Station. The express train takes approximately 15 minutes, while the local train takes about 20 minutes.

IC cards (Sugoca, Nimoca, etc.) can be used for both subway and bus
Taxi from Hakata Station takes about 15 minutes (approximately ¥1,500)
Taxis are recommended during early morning hours or rainy weather
Multiple convenience stores and restaurants are available at Hakata Station
English signage is available in stations and major bus stops

Invitation Letters for Visa Application

If you need an invitation letter in order to apply for a visa to enter Japan, you MUST complete your registration with payment to this conference. Then, please contact the secretariat with your registration ID. You will be given an application form for the invitation letter which you should fill in and submit to the secretariat. After you submit the form, you will receive the invitation letter by international mail service in 1-2 weeks. The procedure is subject to change according to the Japanese Government's policy.
